This year a wonderful movie was launched The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn and the thing that makes it even more worth watching is the fact that is was directed by Steve Spielberg. The maina actors staring in this movie are: Jamie Bell, Andy Serkis, Daniel Craig. The gender of the movie is: animation, mistery, adventure and family.

The movie The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn was launched in 2011 and it is a 3D movie based on the comic books The Adventures of Tintin. These comic books are very famous, they were written by a belgian artist Georges Remi. The movie was produced by Peter Jackson,written by Steven Moffat, Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish and directed by Steven Spielberg.

Steven Spielberg directed this movie based on three comic books: The Secret of the Unicorn which was written in 1943, The Crab with the Golden Claws  which was written in 1941 and last but not least the Red Rackham’s Treasure  which was written in 1944. The famous producer gained the rights to produce this movie just after the author passed away but did not start filming it until 2008. At first he wanted to launch the movie in 2010 but the date was delayed for 2011 because Universal did not want to produce the movie and it was picked up by Sony.

  • Plot

The main character is of course Tintin who is a young journalist. The action starts when Tintin and his dog Snowy go to the European market and buy a boad called Unicorn. As soon as he gets this boat he meets a stranger called  Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine who tries to buy it from him, but with no succes. The adventure starts when Tintin goest home but breaks his boat thanks to his neighbour’s dog. When the boat breaks a scroll fall from it and Snowy is the only one that notices. Pretty soon Tintin finds out that there are two more boats the same as the one he has and he needs to find them in order to find the other scrolls. If he finds the other scrolls he will be able to find the location of the treasure, the same place where they can find information about the sunken shipa called Unicorn.
